Lustery to Release New Video for 'Sex Work November' Campaign

BERLIN — Lustery will release a new video on Friday by performer couple Bailey Base and Luke about their work in the sex industry as part of the company’s “Sex Work November” campaign.

The campaign features a weekly article published by the platform online and on social media, under the hashtag #swnovember, to "clear the stage for sex workers and put the spotlight on their experiences in order to amplify their voices on all their platforms,” explained a rep.

“2021 was an especially nerve-wracking year for sex workers in terms of the War on Porn and censorship and it’s important that there are platforms where sex workers are explicitly welcome and not just tolerated until they are not needed anymore,” the rep noted. “At Lustery, sex workers are not only embraced but encouraged to talk about their sex work openly.”

As part of the “Sex Work November” campaign, Lustery will shed light on different aspects of sex work in their online magazine “POV," including an article that outlines the history of online sex work to a piece by a writer who started selling her panties and explains why it is not only financially but also personally rewarding.

"Discrimination against sex workers is no longer acceptable in a society that calls itself democratic,” said Lustery co-founder Paulita Pappel. “It is a journalistic responsibility to finally present the voices and reality of sex work objectively instead of reproducing the stigma."

The Bailey Base and Luke video will be available to paid subscribers.
