Film Critic Patrick Parker to Moderate #SexTalkTuesday

Film Critic Patrick Parker to Moderate #SexTalkTuesday

LOS ANGELES — #SexTalkTuesday has announced that film critic Patrick Parker will serve as guest moderator for this week's edition of the Twitter-based chat show to discuss the craft of reviewing porn from 5-6 p.m. (PDT).

A rep note Parker has written about adult for an array of publications, including XBIZ, for over 10 years, "spanning many different niches and genres."

“For anyone curious about how film critics in the adult industry operate, and for fans who want to consider more ways to appreciate adult content beyond the obvious, this is a discussion you won’t want to miss," noted the rep.

Angie Rowntree, producer of #SexTalkTuesday and the founder of Sssh.com, welcomed Parker back to the program.

"We frequently encounter this question from fans: how is porn reviewed or ranked in objective ways? In the wider world, people might make all kinds of subjective judgements about adult content according to their individual tastes, so we were all delighted when Patrick agreed to return to #SexTalkTuesday in order to help give fans some perspective," she said.

Participate in the discussion by following the #SexTalkTuesday hashtag and visit the show online and on Twitter.

Find Parker online and on Twitter; follow Sssh.com on Twitter and XBIZ.tv and direct inquiries to Rowntree at editor@sssh.com.
