NAPA, Calif. — Vibratex, the exclusive North American distributor of the Magic Wand brand, has rolled out a pair of billboards designed to mimic a flirtatious text or DM exchange.
"The clever new ad spots, which are part of a cooperative campaign with Pink Cherry, ask 'You up?' The reply quips 'Not for long!' followed by an emoji-like rendering of Magic Wand," noted a rep.
Each billboard, currently visible in Las Vegas and Toronto, is "strategically located for maximum impact."
"The Las Vegas ad is located at the Tropicana/Paradise intersection near the McCarran Airport and UNLV’s Thomas Mack Center. Weekly impressions are reported at 900,000," the rep said. "The Toronto ad is located on the Gardiner Expressway. Weekly impressions are reported at an equally impressive 800,000."
The billboards will stand through mid-December.
“Magic Wand is a larger-than-life brand, and sometimes it takes a billboard to properly show it off,” Vibratex CEO Ken Herskovitz enthused. “Pink Cherry has really mastered the art of ‘going big’ in a fun and engaging way, and we’re so excited to team up with them again on another campaign.”
Members of the public are invited to snap a photo of the billboards and post them to social media with the hashtag #truemagicwand. "Then, go get some sleep!" quipped the rep.
