SAN FRANCISCO — The next installment of the "PinkLabel.tv Live Presents" screening series will be "Mondo Fetiche in Focus" Thursday at 5 p.m. (PDT) as adult filmmaker Carlos Deth shares his perspective and queer porn influences.
The event will be hosted by PinkLabel.tv creator and curator Shine Louise Houston with co-host Ajaporn.
Deth will screen the films that "inspired him to become a pornographer and start his artcore porn," noted a rep. "Selected works include iconic fetish filmmaker Maria Beatty's 2002 'Seven Deadly Sins,' 90s lesbian sex club culture found in Fatale Media’s 'Safe is Desire,' Richard Abel’s 'Nights in Black Leather' starring Peter Berlin, contemporary queer BDSM house Foxhouse Films and concludes with Deth’s own 2020 short film, 'Lucifer Leather Lust.'"
"Inspired by arthouse and grind house cinema, Mondo Fetiche celebrates the beautiful, strange and colorful world of fetish with explicit films exploring identity, gender and sexuality in a sensational way," added the rep.
The event is free to PinkLabel+ members; non-members may purchase a Film Pass for $7 (plus fees). The screenings are in English and open to those aged 18 and older; audio descriptions and closed captioning are not currently available.
