Grooby Announces 1st Trans Adult Industry Conference

LOS ANGELES — Grooby has announced Grooby Camp, the first trans adult industry conference, set for Thursday, June 24, starting at 9 a.m. (PDT). The one-day virtual event, open to all, was created with the intention of specifically supporting the trans adult industry.

The lineup of featured speakers is set to include Natassia Dreams, Foxxy, Domino Presley and reigning XBIZ "Trans Performer of the Year" Casey Kisses, as well as performer and Grooby line producer Saki Cruise, 2049 Entertainment owner Anna Lee, producer-director Fivestar from Filth Syndicate, performer and JustFor.fans model liaison Alice Skary, producer Buddy Wood and longtime Grooby Creative and Editorial Director Kristel Penn.

“This has been a dream of mine for some time,” said Penn. “I am so thankful for the spaces other shows have made for our industry, but I understand that we are only a small segment of adult business. I created Grooby Camp because I want resources to be accessible to everyone and not just limited to those ‘in the know.’ Additionally, I hope Grooby Camp will give trans performers the opportunity to attend an adult industry conference, utilize its resources and then empower them to attend the bigger adult conferences that take place throughout the year."

Penn noted many trans adult performers make their industry debut with Grooby.

"We wanted to give those thinking about entering adult work, as well as newcomers and veterans, the opportunity to learn from some of the heavy-hitters in the trans adult industry," they added. "We want performers — all performers; we just feel we have a particular responsibility to trans performers — to be able to make empowered decisions about navigating the adult industry. We believe that starts with making educational resources accessible to those who want it."
