VANCOUVER — Adult website and domain marketplace Broker.xxx is extending a hand to owners of domains who are affected by eBay's recent decision to ban "items that display sexual activity, sexual content or sexually suggestive poses."
The policy change takes effect June 15. Among the newly prohibited categories is "adult-only domain names," noted a rep.
"Before Broker.xxx there was no centralized place to sell adult domains at all, so we built it. We welcome all domain and website sellers being thrown out due to eBay's new policy," CEO and founder of Broker.xxx Juicy Jay said. "We are leading the way forward. Our sexy, sleek platform is purpose-built and our growing team is helping people sell their adult domains and websites, a market that eBay has decided they have no interest in."
The company will also shortly introduce a new website.
"Our next-generation adult domains platform is currently in pre-release Beta and will ultimately rival mainstream entities such as Dan.com, Sedo, HugeDomains, and other mainstream-first marketplaces that commonly downplay their adult domain portfolio," Jay noted.
