Clubhouse Chat Series Among Winners of 'Creator First' Program

LOS ANGELES — The Clubhouse chat series "Sex Profiteers" about "the business of 'selling sexy,'" hosted by Magalie Rheault, COO of Evil Angel, and Cyndi Pham, CEO of Dirty Hen, is among the winners of the platform's inaugural "Creator First" accelerator program.

Clubhouse CEO Paul Davison, and Clubhouse Head of Community & Content Stephanie Saffa Simon, revealed the awardees during a live town hall earlier today.

"The 'Creator First' accelerator program was first announced by Clubhouse in March with the intent of supporting and equipping emerging creators with resources to bring show ideas to life," a rep explained. "'Sex Profiteers' was selected amongst a pool of over 5,000 show ideas and pitches."

"The 25 shows chosen for the inaugural accelerator program will be provided financial, logistical and promotional support from Clubhouse with 'Creator First' shows airing throughout the summer," added the rep.

The series was born out of the idea of "wanting to create meaningful dialogue around the business of sex because I felt that there was a void in that space," said Pham.

"To be perfectly frank, I submitted the show pitch on the last day of the program, not really thinking much about where it would go. I could not have ever imagined that it would take us this far and land us amongst other amazing shows and creators," she continued.

Recent guests of the show include Ana Foxxx and Misty Stone for Playboy Plus and performer, director and entrepreneur Joanna Angel.

“So proud, and happily surprised, to have been selected as a recurring show on Clubhouse. This will definitely bring awareness to our industry and provide a fresh voice on this new, growing mainstream platform. It’s a new way to expose and support adult brands as we talk about their business success. We hope to bring more guest speakers, sponsors and collaborators to our show,” Rheault said.

The next episode of "Sex Profiteers" will air in June. Find "Sex Profiteers" online and on Twitter and Instagram for the latest updates.
