LOS ANGELES — The virtual celebration L.A. Kink Pride returns for a second year June 4-13 from BDSM educator and Dungeon East owner Justine Cross.
"This event will be entirely online, and anyone with wifi and an open, queer, kinky heart is welcome, along with strong allies," noted a rep.
L.A. Kink Pride will encompass "a full week of online virtual LGBTQ+ workshops, panels and events, featuring Midori, Sunny Megatron, Perverts of Color, Blue of Vox Body, Luna Matatas and Marla Renee Stewart," the rep continued, "covering topics such as pet play, rope bondage, dominance and submission, flogger techniques, self-care, play parties, virtual strip clubs and more."
Tickets are by donation and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the presenters.
"The mission of L.A. Kink Pride is to keep the party going with the best virtual connection with like-minded folx who identify as kinky and queer," said the rep. "We also want to celebrate and spotlight the diversity of queer-owned and allied vendors, restaurants and craft cocktail deliveries."
"Being online has been a necessity during the pandemic and it also made events accessible in new ways," they continued. "Last year, we had people joining us from all over the world, places that wouldn’t have had a Pride event in their location and we are so excited to bring the party back this year bigger and greater than ever."
