APAG, Centro University to Host 'Staying Safe on Social' Webinar

LOS ANGELES — Adult Performance Artists Guild (APAG) President Alana Evans will be the main presenter at an interactive webinar on best social media practices for adult performers, influencers and other sex workers, hosted by FanCentro’s Centro University on Wednesday.

The free webinar will start at 11 a.m. (PDT) and will cover social media censorship and how adult influencers can stay safe while promoting their brands.

Hosted by CentroU instructor MelRose Michaels, the webinar will feature Evans alongside APAG officers Ruby (VP), Kelly Pierce (Secretary) and Jim Felton (Legal Counsel), and marketing and business consultant Amberly Rothfield.

“It’s extremely important for influencers to understand what rights they have when they’re using various social media platforms,” FanCentro VP Kat Revenga said. “Without fully knowing what your rights are, it’s impossible to protect them, so we partnered with the wonderful team at APAG to give influencers the tools they need to protect themselves and their content.”

Evans and APAG, a rep explained, “have been in direct negotiations with Instagram and other social media companies and have gotten clear direction on what influencers and other sex workers need to do to avoid shadowbans and account suspensions.”

Influencers can share their questions about how to stay safe on social media in advance by visiting FanCentro here. Their questions will be covered by the panelists, who will also take live questions during the webinar. Those interested should register for the webinar by visiting CentroUniversity.com or by clicking here.
