Arousr Announces Photography Challenge

MONTREAL — Chat platform Arousr has announced a new "Bodysuit Model Search," which began this month.

“Photographers, Arousr is looking for fresh new talent to show off your best and sexiest work that highlights our brand in order to get promoted through press and social media,” said Patrick Roy, the company’s founder and CEO.

To participate, photographers are encouraged to retweet (on Twitter) or tag (on Instagram) their best photos with #arousr and #arousrchallenge to indicate interest in participating in the challenge, until May 10. On May 11,  Arousr will make a selection and ship the Arousr mesh bodysuit for the photographers' chosen models to wear in the Model Search photos or videos.

On June 1, Arousr will post each finalists’ 10 best images on their Instagram, tagging both photographer and model. The three images or video that receive the most likes within seven days will be named the winners, with a first prize of $500, a second prize of $300 and a third prize of $100.

The three winning photographers and their models will be included in the company’s publicity campaigns, with press releases sent out that highlight their professional profiles and social media accounts.

“This is an amazing way for photographers to get exposure for their work, and we will repeat the contest for six months,” added Roy. “If you were not selected in a given month or did not get the bodysuit in time, don’t worry, we keep your entry for the following months — no need to resubmit.”
