Amber Chase Debuts Multimedia NFT Art Series

LOS ANGELES — Amber Chase has announced the official debut of her NFT art series “Compendium of a Sensual Being” on Opensea, including one item initially priced at the current Ethereum equivalent of approximately $10 million dollars.

Offered under the profile name “Lilyfirefitness,” initial listing prices range from $600 (in current ETH value, for Chase’s first-ever triptych “Fate of Aino”) to $10 million (for “Daughter of Midas: Know Thy Value”).

“There truly is something for every level of collector,” a rep said.

As XBIZ reported last month, the ambitious multimedia project features Chase’s reimagining of a number of candid snapshots, glamour photography, images of her sketches, paintings, sculpture and even bellydance images.

“The series is artistic yet erotic,” described the rep, “while still being fascinatingly personal as the imagery spans Chase’s life from age 22 to 45.” Each mosaic, the rep continued “allows the viewer to travel through time in the metaverse by experiencing either the mosaic artwork by itself or by diving into the personal history that created the imagery by revealing each half-inch photo — mostly unseen and NSFW — within the mosaic. In fact, one of the most powerful conclusions that this collection suggests to the viewer is that things are frequently more than the sum of all their parts, as each mosaic contains between 128 to 10,120 unique photographs to complete the imagery spanning a diverse range of emotion alongside her erotic images."

Chase noted that “aside from the honor of being of part of cool projects and the recognition I have received from the industry over the years, I’ve always been keen to observe the pulse of marketing. In 2009, I began exploring a hybrid of paid downloads on third-party platforms and free streaming on a top tube site, and by 2015 I was sharing every video I filmed for free — until right before publishing this project’s first press release.”

She also explained that the $10 million initial valuation of the piece deliberately named "Know Thy Value" reflects her personal experience of having to turn down an offer of $250 in Bitcoin for a solo webcam session during the early days of cryptocurrency.

"I declined the offer because I had college reports due, so risking my time was more of a concern than shorting the rent,” she told XBIZ.

That $250 in 2009 BTC would be worth around $10 million by 2021's valuation.

While creating the final pieces in this series, Chase continued, the project gave her “time to reflect on the inherent access into each other’s lives social media provides, as well as my place in normalizing blurring the line between personal and public. It’s exciting and startling at the same time to realize that I have been sharing my art, thoughts and image online since 1997 through a variety of usernames — 'Tigerlilie,' 'Amber Chase,' 'Lilyfirefitness.'"

The performer and artist also announced she has been collaborating with other digital artists for her “art-driven” fashion brand AnimePhysique.com, and to create an NFT series of Lilyfire/Amber Chase trading cards.

“I am very excited to promote these artists in this market and will be doing so soon in a very price-accessible way,” Chase stated.
