LOS ANGELES — Sex educator Dr. Zhana Vrangalova will lead a new installment of the tri-monthly virtual event series "Uncensored" centered on women's orgasms Wednesday, March 31, from 4-6 p.m. (PDT).
The talk is set to include Vanessa Marin, a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in sex and relationship therapy, coaching, education and research.
Ticketing is pay-what-you-can; however, a $10 donation unlocks access to post-event offerings such as edited recordings and chat transcripts. The webinar will be recorded.
The ongoing "Uncensored" events discuss "sex, love, intimacy, and other things we never talk about," explained a rep. "'Uncensored' facilitates open conversations between Dr. Vrangalova, her team, occasional guest speakers and registered participants. The events include objective research and open discussion around taboo topics like threesomes, sex work and kink. 'Uncensored' offers an open-minded, sex-positive community and opportunities for skill sharing, storytelling and feedback."
"Attendees report feeling affirmed (32% felt heard and seen), self-aware (46% had new insights into themselves) and educated (62% learned new facts and information)," the rep added.
Since its inception, noted the rep, "Uncensored" has "grown into a community of over 500 cumulative participants from six continents, and ages ranging from 18 to over 60. Participants range in sexual orientation (52% heterosexual, 40% bi/pansexual, 3% queer and 2% gay/lesbian) and gender (64% woman, 32% man,and 3% trans/non-binary)."
"The ethos of 'Uncensored' is to expand beyond cancel culture and cultivate a space safe for non-judgmental, supportive and respectful conversation," the rep continued. "Participants can address controversial topics with compassion and curiosity. Ultimately, 'Uncensored' is a space to openly discuss topics around sex & love, and to help folks find intimacy and education in our often-isolating world."
