NEW YORK — Dame Products this month introduced two new educational verticals within its digital publication, Swell, which include a library of webinars and a new Intimacy Glossary.
Amid the global pandemic, Dame pivoted its programming to a suite of virtual courses, exercises and materials developed by experts such as sex therapists, yoga teachers and massage specialists. The workshops centered on different themes in the world of sexual health and wellness, and included subjects like relationship help, communication, breathwork and more.
According to the company, the success of the courses pushed Dame to build an on-demand library of its top workshops, which is available here.
Each webinar-style virtual class costs $15 and includes worksheets, recordings and resources to continue learning beyond the session plus a video link that never expires.
The second educational component Dame is launching to enhance intimacy is a new Intimacy Glossary, which will be regularly updated, starting with 25 terms defining sex, methods, anatomy and more.
According to the company, the Intimacy Glossary is a chance to introduce new terms (“situationship,” “new relationship energy,” “demisexual”), and clarify oft-used but poorly understood concepts (like the difference between “desire” and “arousal”).
