MONTREAL — Adult Time has wrapped production on the Burning Angel picture "Succubus," described as an "eerie homage to grindhouse cinema," and the latest feature from director Joanna Angel with a starry cast that includes Aubrey Kate and Jane Wilde.
Mick Blue, Tommy Pistol, Small Hands and Zac Wild fill out supporting roles with a special appearance by Angel herself.
"The story centers around Michael and Mary (Wilde, Small Hands), a young couple who relocate to a small town to hold their shotgun wedding," a rep explained. "When Mary encourages Michael to visit a strip club the night before the big day, he winds up being held hostage by the Queen Succubus (Kate), a dancer who thrives off of stealing the souls of her customers."
"After being left at the altar, Mary struggles to find answers in a town possessed by demons and she is determined to get them — no matter what it takes," added the rep.
Kate enthused about her juicy, spooky leading turn.
"I am so proud of everything about this movie,” said Kate. “I loved the role because playing a villain is so much fun. And getting to have a sex scene with Small Hands and Jane was a real dream come true," she said. "I can't wait for everyone to see this. The entire movie was just such an incredible experience."
Wilde described the plot as "captivating and different from what anyone else in porn is doing."
"Fans will really love the end result and I can’t wait for it to come out,” she added.
"Succubus" is currently set to be released in four installments on the Burning Angel channel on Adult Time in May.
“That's a wrap on another amazing Burning Angel feature. I can't even begin to explain how proud I am of the entire cast. The ferocious sex scenes and the incredible acting — I was just blown away by both Jane and Aubrey's ability to bring these characters to life,” said Angel, who also penned the script.
"Tommy played a frighteningly good demonic pastor, And, well, I'm not sure what I can say about Small Hands that isn't already known but he fucking killed it. I also want to thank Mike Quasar for capturing this so incredibly. Don't let his self-deprecating sense of humor fool you, he is truly a cinematic artist underneath his sarcastic exterior."
Adult Time CCO Bree Mills paid tribute to the filmmaker's "drive and dedication to the films she makes, no matter the genre or budget."
"She is motivated by storytelling and working with actors to bring out their best performances, and I think this will be an incredible year for her creativity," Mills said.
