LONDON — U.K.-based musician and adult performer Marcus Quillan has launched alt-porn subscription site ThousandFacesFilm.com that seeks to produce "quirky, theatrical" content inspired by "indie, alternative and queer porn movements."
Inspired by Quillan's "diverse performance background," noted a rep, ThousandFaces explores "artistry, kink, humor and emotion."
"With an all-new site and a packed release schedule, they are embracing the challenges of a post-pandemic world with such topics as socially-distanced seduction, outdoor eco-sex and connection through kink in a lockdown bubble," the rep continued.
Featured Euro-performers include Lola Marie, Nat Portnoy, Eryn Rose, Luna Silver and Kali Sudhra.
"We're so excited to finally collect all our films in one place and offer a single supporter membership," Quillan said. "This is huge for us as a nonprofit indie project, because all our sales go back into the films we make. We are self-funded with no investors or parent company, so every penny counts. And now we no longer have to rely on other platforms taking a large cut from our sales, meaning better paid performers and crew, as well as bigger, better, more regular releases."
Additional features include 4K shoots, BTS vignettes, performer bios and "extended film notes," said Quillan, as well as smartcasting from wifi to smart TVs.
Full-access memberships are available for £9.99 per month; for additional information, including previews, visit ThousandFacesFilms.com and follow the venture on Twitter.
