HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ricky Greenwood, the twice-crowned XBIZ "Trans Director of the Year," is the latest guest on Dick Dangle’s “Dangling After Dark” podcast.
“This is one of the most amazing interviews I’ve done,” Dangle said. “Not only is Ricky a creative genius, but he’s also well-spoken, with no pretenses, and is a lot of fun. I learned a lot from talking to him in our one-hour interview, and the 40 minutes after that we didn’t record.”
In this episode, titled “Ricky Greenwood: Episode 311,” Greenwood lets fans see more of how his creative mind works and "why he’s one of the most sought-after directors and writers in the adult industry," noted a rep. Other topics discussed include how he made the transition from mainstream to adult, the difference between the two, how Greenwood runs his sets the same way, and what he learned from mainstream that has served him well in the adult industry.
Additionally, the two delve into how he looks for new talent, his blaxploitation throwback film 'Sweet Sweet Sally Mae,' his newest camera and Ricky’s advice to new filmmakers in the industry — hint: it’s more about ideas than actual equipment," the rep added.
The men also chat about TV shows, football and the Chicago Bears, and hockey.
“Dick is a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed being on his show,” Greenwood said. “I very rarely get to talk about my work, how I work, and what goes into directing and writing. If you’re curious about my process of casting, making films, and more, definitely check this out.”
