LOS ANGELES — The board of the Adult Performance Artists Guild (APAG) will be offering a tax prep seminar this Sunday.
APAG has teamed up with Ash from DITA Inc., a sex worker-friendly accounting firm, to help sex workers navigate through tax preparation and answer questions from their members.
“As tax season quickly approaches, APAG is offering a fun way to tackle your finances and take the fear out of taxes,” said a rep.
APAG has also announced that Ash (aka Cendrine), the CEO of DITA, has joined their board as Treasurer.
“Ash is licensed in tax preparation and is also a CPA,” the rep added. “DITA offers guidance when starting a business and tax expertise, focusing on adult and alternative businesses, and offering our workers support and inclusivity.”
The seminar with Ash from DITA will take place Sunday at 5 p.m. (PST), followed by the regular APAG meeting. This event will be recorded and posted to the APAG website at a later time.
