MIAMI — Ella Paradis’ recent customer survey revealed that shoppers celebrated Valentine’s Day this year with pleasure products and romance, despite the pandemic.
According to the company, 58% of the respondents were between the ages of 35 and 59. Within that group, over 65% said they were taking Valentine's festivities outside the home. Seventy-three percent of the 35 to 59 year-olds said they would be using sex toys to spice things up.
Ella Paradis CEO Tino Dietrich remarked, "The results we see today clearly indicate Americans want to continue to celebrate love no matter the circumstance. People's desire for intimacy is on the rise and the need for sexual fulfillment and experimentation are key to getting through the monotony of life in quarantine."
The survey also found that 67.4% were not apprehensive to celebrate Valentine's Day because of COVID-19, and 33.5% of the respondents planned for a romantic night in.
