Corey D. Silverstein to Speak, Host GFY Awards During InterNEXT21

LOS ANGELES — Industry attorney Corey D. Silverstein will be appearing at this week’s InterNEXT Expo, presenting at two seminars and participating in the GFY Awards ceremony.

Silverstein — also the founder of the MyAdultAttorney.com and Adult.Law sites — will lead the seminar “Performer Legal Basics” tomorrow at 2 p.m. (PST). Topics to be covered during this masterclass event include entity formation, contracts and records keeping.

This InterNEXT presentation is designed to complement Adult.Law’s weekly content resource releases. Adult.Law subscribers may access this content on a tiered-access basis.

Silverstein will also speak alongside colleague Lawrence Walters during the “Legal Critical Updates” seminar on Thursday at 11 a.m. (PST). Silverstein and Walters will guide attendees through an overview of the climate being created by regulators in response to contemporary censorship and the ways it may impact the business.

“The adult entertainment industry is being attacked by the United States government from both sides of the political aisle, and every responsible adult business operator needs to be making preparations now,” Silverstein said. “My colleague and I intend to discuss the facts you need to know and step past the political jabs being thrown.”

In addition to these seminar discussions, Silverstein will also be serving as a guest judge and host during the GFY Awards on Thursday, starting at 2 p.m. (PST).

“I joined GFY over 17 years ago and have attended more ceremonies than I can remember,” Silverstein added. “The awards are an awesome combination of celebration, humor, and community bonding that only GFY can pull off.”

“My aim as a host-judge is to help keep the awards show under five hours,” he joked.
