NEW YORK — WOW Tech announced it has filed a lawsuit against Lora DiCarlo at the U.S. District Court of Oregon as it seeks to enforce three of its Womanizer Pleasure Air Technology patents, charging Lora DiCarlo with patent infringement for its Osé, Osé 2 and Baci products.
“WOW Tech is committed to vigorously enforcing these intellectual property rights against all infringers, including retailers, distributors, and other market participants selling infringing products,” the company explained. “After CDH Investments acquired a substantial stake in the company in the beginning of 2020 and became a main shareholder, WOW Tech set the strategic direction for the coming years with an even stronger focus on innovation and enforcement of its patent portfolio.”
The partnership enables WOW Tech to continue to invest significant resources in and expand its international network of legal experts, the company said.
"The WOW Tech team is working hard, investing much time, budget and passion to create new and innovative products,” CEO Johannes von Plettenberg said. “We will make sure that these achievements are protected. Therefore, we act with full force against all those who infringe our patents, be it brands, retailers or distributors. We also have a responsibility to our valued partners who sell our products. We want to ensure that copycats do not harm their businesses and sales.”
Lora DiCarlo did not immediately respond to XBIZ for a response to the suit.
