ASACP Names AWEmpire, AdultWebmasterNet, iWantClips as Featured Sponsors

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has named AWEmpire, AdultWebmasterNet, and iWantClips as its Featured Sponsors for November.

ASACP’s monthly Featured Sponsors are among the industry’s most respected companies and are prime examples of how responsible business practices, ethical operation and social awareness can serve to protect minors from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials, explained a rep.

ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning said that the success of the non-profit association relies on online companies and organizations that are willing to assume a genuine leadership role in the fight to keep children out of and away from adult-oriented materials.

“Only through the continued support of leading industry stakeholders is ASACP able to continue its mission of providing free educational resources and safety tools that deliver a positive benefit for today’s constantly-connected youth,” Henning noted. “We are extremely grateful that our message and mission are being embraced by a cadre of caring companies.”

The support that ASACP receives from its sponsors, such as AWEmpire, AdultWebmasterNet and iWantClips, explained a rep, “power its 24 years of success and enables its free child protection resources, including market-specific Best Practices and a Code of Ethics for online businesses, app publishers and operators of adult and age-restricted websites.”

November’s Featured Sponsors

These are the ASACP descriptions of their November sponsors:

AWEmpire

A Platinum Sponsor supporting ASACP since 2008, DuoDecad IT Services Luxembourg Sarl, known for its LiveJasmin brand, unites millions of users from around the globe via its popular live cam and chat platform(s). Because of the unique nature of live cam services, the company takes its responsibilities seriously by preventing [minors] from accessing its site(s), while ensuring that its cam models are all of legal age. This process starts with the proactive use of an overlaid warning page that alerts visitors that age-restricted content is ahead. Age verification (AV) solutions have been further deployed where legally required in coordination with relevant authorities.

To ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for performers, individuals who register as live cam models on LiveJasmin.com or its associated sites are subject to a rigorous screening process. The company implements extensive measures to constantly monitor its live content, as an additional proactive measure for protecting minors.

According to AWEmpire CEO and co-founder Karoly Papp, it is important for the company to be associated with ASACP, and support its team’s mission of protecting minors.

“As a trusted and key player in the webcam industry, one of our priorities is to abide by sound corporate governance and notably keep children out of adult-oriented materials,” Papp explained, adding, “We have supported this association since 2008, and we intend to keep doing so.”

AdultWebmasterNet

An ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2012, AdultWebmasterNet is a traffic services firm that sells adult website traffic, putting it in a position to work with many sites — and it does so with a distinct sense of corporate responsibility.

For example, the company reviews all traffic requests to ensure minimum standards, such as the lack of underage depictions or even any allusion to them. AdultWebmasterNet also publishes its own set of Best Practices, which include encouraging clients to become sponsors of ASACP and to adopt the RTA labeling protocol — actions that spread the word about the need to protect minors online and in mobile apps.

Although AdultWebmasterNet is not based in the U.S., it voluntarily complies with various U.S. federal laws, such as 18 U.S.C. §2257, which mandates performer age verification, illustrating the “above and beyond” mindset of ASACP’s top supporters.

iWantClips

An online portal that unites amateur, fetish and professional content producers with fans of female domination and financial domination content, iWantClips has become a top destination for end-users seeking this premium content, uploaded by the site’s content partners — putting it on the frontline of the need for online child protection.

“We are pleased to support ASACP,” said a spokesperson for iWantClips. “Our pledge to be an annual Corporate Sponsor affirms our commitment to keeping age-restricted content away from minors.”

As part of this effort, iWantClips features an adult content warning “pop-up” as well as resources for parents who wish to also take an active role in keeping their children safe online.

“ASACP appreciates the generosity of the industry-leaders it counts among its valued sponsors, such as AWEmpire, AdultWebmasterNet and iWantClips, which empower the association to carry out its tireless campaign to protect children,” Henning concluded. “ASACP’s Featured Sponsors do more than talk about the problem, they do something about it — and you can, too.”
