LOS ANGELES — Brazzers has released details of its #StrokeTheVote public service campaign to encourage Americans to exercise their civic duty, including a "pause" of Brazzers.com on Election Day, November 3.
Reps said Brazzers' site will temporarily go dark between 5 and 8 p.m. on November 3 in each U.S. time zone "so folks can #StrokeTheVote instead of themselves."
The studio is also launching a series of billboards "in iconic locations like Times Square in New York and the Las Vegas strip, as well as in Chicago," noted reps, "to trumpet the message out-of-home."
Additionally, Brazzers intends to reach "over 18.5 million impressions" with the #StrokeTheVote message through "paid advertisements and its own digtial channels. Consumers can expect to see cheeky slogans like 'Vote. Hardcore' and 'Stuff the box. Vote,'" explained the reps.
“In 2016, about 100 million eligible voters did not make it to the polls, and we noticed that our site traffic during the last election did not drop either — it was the same as any other average day,” said Mario Nardstein, product director for Brazzers product. “We want to ensure that as many voices as possible are heard this year and we can do that by rallying Americans to take a break from their screens and carry out their civic duty.”
