CAM4 Launches 'Boost' Tool to Support, Elevate Live Shows

LOS ANGELES — CAM4 is announcing "Boost," a new tool on the camming platform that allows members to become "elite supporters" by elevating their favorite performer's listing rank during a live show.

The brand-new feature can "really make a difference in [a performer's shows] and, ultimately, their livelihood," a rep explained.

"CAM4 users will now notice the new 'Boost' button on their screen after entering into a live show," continued the rep. "For only 25 tokens, the user can click the button and shoot the performer’s room to a higher position within CAM4’s general directory. This will drive more viewers into a performer's room and ultimately helping the performer maximize their live shows."

Shannon McD, communications manager for CAM4, expressed excitement about the fresh opportunity for community engagement.

"'Boost' is a fun way for audience members to really show love to their favorite performers and get them more visibility," they said. "The higher a performer's profile is in our directory directly relates to the size and earnings of their room. 'Boost' is a great way for performers to grow and get even more fans to watch their live broadcasts. If you love what you see, why not give it a 'Boost?'"
