WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — With the impeding announced suspension of ride-hailing services by Uber and Lyft — which appears to be imminent — performer Kinsley Karter has stepped up to offer rides directly to the adult community in the Los Angeles area.
“I wanted to let people know that I am now available to provide rides exclusively to adult performers and others in the community, be it to and from set, to testing services, the airport, model houses and other locations,” Karter told XBIZ.
Karter said that after hearing the announcement of a possible suspension of Uber and Lyft services, her first thoughts were about the adult performers — many of whom are coming from out of town — who rely on those services to get around the sprawling Los Angeles metropolitan area.
“I know there are a lot of people who depend on Uber and Lyft,” Karter said. “I saw a lot of people who are panicking about the shutdown. I wanted to provide an affordable substitute to Uber and Lyft, with charges comparable to theirs.”
Karter said she will provide rides in a 2020 Chevy Malibu LT, sanitized before and after each ride. Riders will be asked to wear masks en route. She is mostly based in West Hollywood and the Valley, but her starting location may change depending on other rides she books.
The service encourages at least a 24-hour advance notice, although Karter, a model herself, understands that last-minute call and testing-related changes are common, so she is requesting at least a 4-hour advance notice.
To book rides with Karter, contact her via email or Twitter DM. Riders will be screened to ensure they are legitimate members of the adult industry.
