Vendo Updates Stats on COVID-19 Effect on Subscription Businesses

LOS ANGELES — Vendo has released information from their most recent User Conference, including updated stats about the effect of the novel coronavirus outbreak on subscription content businesses.

The User Conferences are exclusive events designed to facilitate networking and interaction between clients and the Vendo team.

"The talk covered the effects of lockdown and rising numbers of infections over the last 30 days. The last month has seen increased traffic, increased conversion and an increase in total members as a result of reduced cancellations," noted a Vendo rep, who described "a 'new normal' of continued lower cancellation rates among elevated traffic and conversion."

The presentation detailed "COVID-19 effects in the United States, Italy, Spain and Sweden," the rep continued, "plus an overview of countries that have taken a strong track-and-trace approach, including Singaore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea."

Vendo's Lukas Taylor enthused about the conference.

"For the team at Vendo and myself, we really wanted to somehow re-live the industry conference 'Happy Hour' vibe [with] some constructive conversation on key topics, some chit-chat between peers and the odd loudmouth," he said.

"The key takeaway and action triggers for the audience are most definitely the data insights shared," he continued. "These metrics impact the success and survival of paysites and set industry benchmarks. Everyone who attended were super-engaged with big smiles all 'round in the gallery view; that's a plus for us. We are excited to host the next event mid-September."
