LOS ANGELES — Performer Krissy Lynn has launched a GoFundMe campaign to offset the costs of stem cell treatment after suffering severe side effects from an antibiotic drug.
“My spine and body need medical care from the neurosurgeons at BioXcellerator in Colombia to receive extreme volumes of therapeutic doses for stem cells into my spine, intravenously, and more,” Lynn said. “I know it’s hard for me to ask for help, but I feel I have no other choice and I want to thank all of you who have helped so far, but more needs to be done. So I hope you will contribute to this effort. Every donation of any size is appreciated wholeheartedly.”
Lynn said that she discovered last year, after undergoing surgery, that the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin was making her ill by causing debilitating pain to her joints and spine as well as impacting her heart. Although she was taken off the drug, she has “continued to suffer severe pain and herniated discs to her back while also suffering heart palpitations from the drug.”
“Thanks to my fans, I learned about BioXcellerator in the United States which has been doing amazing work with stem cell therapy at its facility in Colombia,” Lynn added. “They have been able to help many people suffering similar issues with joint pain and more through stem cell therapy, so I’m excited about the possibility of undergoing treatment there. But I need help to pay for this treatment.”
Stem cells are harvested from the umbilical cord of pregnant women and after they processed and are combined with other natural growth and healing factors are then injected into the body where they are needed to regrow, repair damaged tissue.
