NOTTINGHAM, U.K. — A U.K. female entrepreneur based in the Midlands city of Nottingham will launch tomorrow a new online adult products shop called Habebee, catering to the local Islamic community.
Habebee is the brainchild of 40-year-old Amal Abbas, who explained to the Nottingham Post that her business “is all done in good taste and without breaking the accepted rules of Islamic relations between husband and wife.”
Abbas told the local paper that “like couples from other faiths, there’s no shortage of desire to add things that could be exciting or adventurous in the bedroom but still halal — religiously permitted.”
"Unfortunately, this community has long been neglected," Abbas added.
Habebee will stock massage oil, sexy lingerie, toys for the bedroom including fluffy handcuffs and whips and more, but exclude vibrators and porn.
"As a couple, you can get everything you need to experiment, explore and develop your physical and spiritual relationship in a halal environment without any prohibited products,” Abbas explained.
Abbas told the Nottingham Post that Habebee will have “accessories catering for all tastes and experiences, from newlyweds to the more mature and experienced.”
The new website will launch tomorrow at Habebee.co.uk.
