BARCELONA, Spain — LustCinema has announced the upcoming release of their new series “Safe Word,” directed by studio head Erika Lust, with the first episode available for free this Friday.
“Safe Word” is described as “a full immersion in the healthy, sexy culture of communication and awareness in BDSM sex.”
The series follows a ruthless and demanding theatre director, "Christie Alda" (Mona Wales), in her initiation into BDSM, encouraged by a meeting with her new neighbor "Mickey" (Mickey Mod) and mistress "Madama Opal" (Nina Hartley).
“Often misunderstood by those who lack experience in it, BDSM can actually be a great tool to explore ourselves both sexually and mentally,” said a rep. “Contrary to common belief, real BDSM practices and other forms of kink can only take place if built on mutual trust, communication, respect, and care.”
The rep added that “we should not only represent kinks as the result of redeeming from past trauma. BDSM is by definition an exploration of the self, and we want to give the public a credible and positive representation of it.”
The first episode of “Safe Word” will be available for free on Friday. The remaining three episodes will then be released every Friday until July 10 on LustCinema.
The cinematic, explicit adult mini-series, the rep continued, “explores kinky fantasies and desires through a variety of fun and sexy scenes: from voyeurism and solo play to a fetish session and a BDSM party that showcases diverse types of impact play falling under the BDSM umbrella.”
