Attorney Lawrence Walters to Moderate 'Sex Talk Tuesday'

LOS ANGELES — Attorney Lawrence Walters will serve as guest moderator for tomorrow's edition of the Twitter-based chat show #SexTalkTuesday which will focus on legal topics pertinent to creators of self-produced content.

The program, produced by Sssh.com owner Angie Rowntree, runs Tuesdays from 12 to 1 p.m. (PDT).

This week's episode will depart from the show's typical format. Walters will instead lead a discussion centered on "questions about intellectual property that are of crucial importance to adult content creators and performers," a rep explained. "These questions will include things like 'Should I trademark my stage name,' 'How do I copyright my content' and 'How do I get a trademark registration,' among others."

"Walters has represented the interests of the adult industry for over 30 years, primarily representing adult website operators, webcam networks, dating sites, and content producers throughout the world," said the rep.

Rowntree enthused about Walters' participation.

“We’re very fortunate to have Larry offer his services as moderator of this important discussion,” she said. “He’s so knowledgeable about such a wide range of legal topics and has very long roots in the adult entertainment industry, so he really understands how these issues impact adult businesses, creators and performers, specifically.”
