MONTREAL — Pure Taboo is touting today's release of "A Girl Like Me: A Jenna Foxx Story," an "emotionally charged" story conceived, written by and starring Foxx herself.
"A Girl Like Me," directed by Joanna Angel, focuses on "a gorgeous adult superstar, aptly named Jenna, who oozes sex appeal, charm and confidence in front of the camera. It’s no surprise when the photographer of her latest magazine shoot (Angel, in a non-sex role) informs Jenna that she’s their newest centerfold model," explained a rep.
"But once she’s home alone and faces herself in the mirror, Jenna’s inner battles with self-doubt, anxiety and a nagging identity crisis start to surface. Her roommates (Katrina Jade, Lucas Frost) want to help her, but that means facing up to her deepest fears."
The scene is Foxx's first starring role for Pure Taboo and she admits to trepidation while filming.
"It was my first time going public shooting with buzzed hair," she recalled. "It took some time to adjust, but I finally had the confidence to do the scene and I’m happy to share my experience with everyone."
