LOS ANGELES — Top stars Romi Rain and Charlotte Stokely are two of the beauties who inspired "Vixens and Sirens," a deck of lavishly designed playing cards from pin-up artist Lorenzo Sperlonga. A Kickstarter campaign to fund the project is underway.
"Romi and Charlotte are the Joker cards of those two poker-size pin-up playing cards sets," a rep explained. "They are also the box covers, with a naughty and nice version on each side of the box: a dressed version and a nude one."
"Alongside the two new playing cards sets, the original drawings and acrylic paintings are available for purchase to art collectors. Other items available included books and limited edition prints of many of the card for any art enthusiast or pin-up lovers," said the rep. "Every single card in both decks are unique and feature a different pin-up painting. That's 108 cards."
Elsewhere in the deck, Playboy centerfold Claire Sinclair is depicted as the Queen of Spades, while Penthouse Pet Emily Addison is the Queen of Clubs. Sperlonga's wife, Anastasia Pierce, is portrayed as the Queen of Diamonds.
Also featured are Bianca Beauchamp, Bunny Colby, Kendra James, Justine Jolie, Tera Patrick and Lexi Sindell.
Sperlonga, who created his artwork by hand without digital help, is notable for his cover art for Heavy Metal magazine; he has published five art books.
