Screaming O Passes New Round of Consumer Safety Testing

LOS ANGELES — Screaming O has completed its semi-annual safety validation testing. The flexible silicone and smooth styrene materials used by the company passed a three-step review process conducted by the independent lab Polymer Solutions.

The manufacturer enacted its safety testing policy in 2015, a rep explained, to "proactively assure the public of its products' high quality and dependability" in accordance with guidelines set forth in the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) in the United States and compliance with the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (ROHS).

The flexible silicone is used in Screaming O's newly introduced Premium Ergonomic Panty Vibe, while the smooth styrene is used for the LoveBuzz Positive Angle.

"Each underwent an uncompromising three-step process of review," a rep explained. "FTIR testing takes a chemical 'photograph' to verify the product’s material ingredients; XRF testing investigates the product for any potentially hazardous or restricted elements and GC-MS testing looks for looks for hazardous substances that could leach out of the product during use."

"The testing also confirmed the materials’ chemical makeup — including the absence of hazardous, toxic or restricted elements — verifying the products’ authenticity and containing the expected ingredients," the rep continued, "with metal levels well within the acceptable standards for healthy individuals without allergies."

Screaming O's rigorous consumer safety standards are a source of pride to VP Conde Aumann.

"We remain committed to transparency and fulfilling our ongoing promise of putting customers first, with body-safe, quality products from a brand you can trust," said Aumann.
