Pineapple Support, Pornhub Partner Up for Self-Care Contest

LOS ANGELES — Adult industry mental health resource Pineapple Support has announced it is launching a competition, in collaboration with Pornhub, to highlight the importance of self-care.

The competition invites those in the adult industry to share their favorite self-care activities during the global lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pornhub will provide a $100 voucher to one winner who will be selected randomly and announced on May 1. The voucher can be used to purchase merchandise from the Pornhub online store.

The competition will run in conjunction with Pineapple Support’s ongoing Self-Care Month initiative, during which the organization will focus on raising awareness around the benefits of self-care practices for mental health and well-being.

“We’re committed to our ongoing support of individual care and self-care, and we believe that a healthy community can only arise from when each individual member’s mental health is being cared for first,” said Corey Price, VP of Pornhub. “Our global community is going through a crisis with the COVID-19 pandemic and we are working on making sure we can all take care of ourselves so that we can take care of each other. Let’s take the time to stay home, self isolate and take care of ourselves.”

Pineapple Support’s Leya Tanit explained that the organization is working to raise morale by asking people to share how they practice self-care.

“Throughout the month of April we will also share videos and blogs on self-care at home, including workouts, yoga, nutrition, breathing exercises and more,” explained Tanit. “We would also like to encourage our followers to send in videos to help others to keep mentally and physically healthy during isolation and lockdown. Let’s help each other feel a little less alone.”

Anyone who wishes to take part in the contest should follow Pineapple Support and Modelhub on Twitter, retweet this post and share what they have done that day for self-care, using the hashtag #PineappleSelfCare.

Up to one entry per day will be accepted during the month of April, and the winner will be announced on May 1 via Pineapple Support's Twitter account.
