LOS ANGELES — Nikki Hearts has announced the relaunch of DykedDown, a site conceived to be “the premier destination for authentic, DIY erotica that appeals to the modern LGBTQ+ generation.”
Hearts, a noted performer, filmmaker, director and now the creative director of DykedDown, said the site is imagined "'for them, by them,' if you will."
The site will feature "quality videos, nuanced editorial and ethos-minded media prioritized over anything else," Hearts added.
"People everywhere are practicing social distancing or self-quarantine, and they’re subsequently consuming more media — and adult content — than ever," the filmmaker explained. "Idle hands are the pandemic’s playthings, and people want to watch porn. But DykedDown strives to be more than the status quo."
"Now is the time to support independent creators, especially those with an original voice and vision. This is truly a passion project," Hearts concluded.
The site will seek to connect other independent performers, showcase like-minded individuals and promote authentic queer erotica in one location.
Alongside a regular output of premium adult videos, DykedDown will regularly share other types of content on a weekly basis, like editorial articles — including interviews with all DykedDown performers — a SFW YouTube channel, a tier-based membership option via Patreon, an active Instagram account, merchandise, including limited-edition photo prints, and monthly music playlists and culture guides.
