CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Maitland Ward will appear weekly on CamSoda, hosting weekly performances to raise money for entertainers in need during the COVID-19 crisis.
Ward will treat fans to a live one-hour show every Thursday evening on the CamSoda platform with the goal of raising at least $1,000 a week — $4,000 per month — to be donated to charitable organizations such as the Free Speech Coalition’s Emergency Fund.
Her performance on April 2 earned over 21,000 tokens, which netted $1,014.00.
“This community has been so open and welcoming to me, and I just want to give back in any way I can by supporting performers from all over, and donating as much money as possible to organizations that support this industry,” said Ward.
The popular star boasts a large fan base, thanks to her successful mainstream acting career in such shows as “Boy Meets World” and “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
“I went online and asked all performers who wanted their OnlyFans pages advertised that I would purchase and retweet their handles,” added Ward. “To date, I have subscribed to over 150 accounts so far.”
Ward goes live every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. (PDT) exclusively at CamSoda.
