LOS ANGELES — Team Skeet has reported a spike in traffic during the global coronavirus pandemic.
According to the company, traffic has increased by 25 percent, with premium memberships going up by 20 percent. Additionally, Team Skeet is reporting that bandwidth is exceeding "typical expectations" on a daily basis, citing a 35 percent increase in time spent on the site.
"Now that almost everyone has been told to stay at home, it’s given a lot of people time to peruse the internet in search of something new," said a rep. "We are thrilled to report this includes alt-genre porn, which could awake excitement for readers in need of breaking up the quarantine monotony.
The company specifically touted some of its more niche sites, saying that alt content, including shoplifting fantasies and fauxcest, has received "record-breaking traffic and sign-ups."
"The standard pizza-boy-meets-hot-girl porn is holding steady, but it’s not seeing the same rise," the rep noted.
