LOS ANGELES — Trenton Ducati has teamed with Desert AIDS Project (DAP) for a new collaborative effort aimed at combating "sexual stigma in the age of COVID-19."
"I'm ecstatic to work with DAP to get the message out," said Ducati. "Let's save our community by turning on some porn and staying home."
The effort will include online outreach and radio spots. Ducati and DAP's Director of Community Health, C.J. Tobe, among others, will explore "new ways of sexual expression that adhere to social distancing," a rep explained. "Both will bring their expertise in their fields to keep sexual wellness on the minds and lips of anyone who might be at risk."
DAP operates in California's Coachella Valley and has focused on community outreach and "fact-based, sex-positive" education for 36 years. The organization offers PreP/PEP services and free HIV and STI testing and treatment, "regardless of how you practice social distancing," said the rep.
The novel coronavirus outbreak "changed the world, including our sex lives," notes Tobe. "We want our community to continue talking openly and honestly about sexual health in this new era."
Ducati enthused about the initiative in a statement to XBIZ.
"Industry brothers and sisters, please encourage your fans to stay home and watch porn," he said. "Just think — you can save the world by staying home and jacking off!"
