VISTA, Calif. — Paradise Marketing has reported a "sharp upswing" in condom sales this week, a record they have attributed to coronavirus quarantines confining folks to their homes and seeking alternative indoor activities.
According to Paradise Marketing owner Dennis Paradise, condom order numbers have increased in Europe and Latin America, with numbers for the U.S. going "sky-high" in the past several days.
“We wish these sales boosts signified a more joyous occasion," said Paradise, "but we are happy that everyone is staying in and, apparently, staying safe.”
He added, “Some of the uptick, we can attest, is being attributed to the release of new ultra-thin Wink condoms from Okamoto; all four varieties — Studded texture, Slider natural lubricated formula, Closer Everyday and Super X-Large — are already big sellers."
Besides the company’s signature Paradise condoms, the California-based seller also carries top prophylactic brands such as Lifestyles, Trojan, Kimono, Beyond Seven, Durex, Crown, Okamoto and more.
