LAS VEGAS — Altitude Intimates has postponed this month's tradeshow in Las Vegas in the wake of public concerns about the coronavirus.
Their official statement follows:
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world.
Following the CDC’s recommendation on major public events, Altitude Intimates tradeshow has made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming 2020 March trade show.
This decision was not made lightly, as this is [a] time we all look forward to as an industry for camaraderie, expansion and brand awareness. Let us not forget that Altitude was founded by our industry and for our industry; we pride ourselves in maintaining that above anything.
While this news is incredibly disappointing for all of us, the health and safety of our attendees, volunteers, staff and partners is our top priority.
We advise that you immediately cancel all and any travel plans, or hotel-stays, booked for the event.
Updated details including the new date will be advised ASAP.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter and we hope that you all stay safe, informed and taking proper precautions to stay healthy!
Sincerely,
The Managing Board of Altitude Intimates
