7Veils' Alex Lecomte Wins Bob Raley Honorific Award at 2020 Live Cam Awards

LISBON — Alex Lecomte, managing director of 7Veils.com, won the 2020 Bob Raley Honorific Award at the Live Cam Awards last week.

The award was named for the late cam industry veteran Robert Raley, who passed away in February 2016. This is the fourth time the award has been handed out.

"I was shocked to be called on stage and speechless to receive such a great honor," said Lecomte. "I was fascinated by Bob and he is always missed during the shows. When I started in this industry, the gatherings were impressive, so many people, so many things to do and learn at the same time it was a pleasant and intense chaos, but Bob taught me to slow down and analyze things, to prioritize the tasks and take a break to build real human connections with my industry peers."

Event organizer and studio owner Alexandra Georgia, the creator of the award, enthused about the trophy's namesake and its latest winner.

"Bob was the spirit of the party but he was also a very successful live cam business person," she said. "This category is to highlight this mix of friendship and professionalism that Bob was representing, the fact that someone contributes to this industry in so many ways but above everything by her or his personal dedication and friendship. Alex and the previous winners were obvious choices; they all represent great allies."
