VALENCIA, Calif. — Lacy Lennon stars in the first feature release of 2020 for Girlfriends Films, "Alien Rhapsody," written and directed by Serene Siren.
The sci-fi thriller also stars Charlotte Sins, Diana Grace, Emma Starletto, Vina Sky, Veronica Kirei and Eva Long. Produced by B. Skow, with camerawork by Mickey Charms and Marcus London, the feature is a "full-length scripted paranormal sci-fi feature film [that] is a departure from the typical Girffriends fare, but with the signature elements of lesbian sex that their fans appreciate," a rep explained.
"It was incredible, the teamwork and the dedication from the crew," said Siren. "We were in a freezing cold warehouse with nothing but a propane heater. There was a lot going against us. The girls really toughed it out until all hours of the morning. The script was my first serious one [and] I love the ending."
The director also enthused about her lead actress, who plays "a tortured young woman with gender identity issues."
"Lacy was so perfect at this role, it was mind-blowing how well she personified my script," Siren said.
