LOS ANGELES — In celebration of Mardi Gras, the ChamPAIN play party is set to return to Sanctuary Studios LAX this Saturday, hosted by Queen Ana Algos and sponsored by The Stockroom, for an evening of kinky fun with a charitable twist.
From 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. (PST), attendees will be invited to participate in the evening's body-positive, strip club-inspired performances, where money thrown at performers is donated to a charity of their choice. Unlike other play parties, everyone has the opportunity to perform on stage.
Charities for this event include, but are not limited to Bikers Against Child Abuse, the Los Angeles LGBT Center and Planned Parenthood. Among the confirmed performers are Erotic Eevee, Temptress Tiny, Loli Devil, Folly, Sister Merci, Manila Bey and Miss Sanctuary LAX, Algos.
“All sexes, shapes, colors, genders and orientation of people are invited to shake what their mama gave them in the name of charity and a good time,” enthused Algos.
For those new to the ChamPAIN party and "the art of burlesque and making it rain," a rep explained, Miss Emmeline will kick the night off with a class on the subject before performances begin at 9:30 p.m. on the main stage. Included in the evening's entertainment are lap dancing, breakdancing and spanking contests, with prizes donated from Stockroom.
Attendees are invited to dress to impress, with Mardi Gras colors and fetish wear encouraged. General admission is $25 at the door; click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
In related news, Sanctuary Studios will also host a free suicide prevention workshop, presented by Mr. Sanctuary Leather 2020 Apolonio Muñoz III, on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The workshop will cover LGBT-plus resources, as well as how to assist at-risk individuals.
