CAMPBELL, Calif. — In a statement released today, FriendFinder Networks Inc. (FFN) announced that class action litigation over an alleged data breach has been "settled and terminated."
The statement reads as follows:
FriendFinder Networks Inc. announced that class action litigation over an alleged data breach filed against the company in August 2018 by Alejandro Gutierrez and subsequently compelled to arbitration by FFN has been settled and terminated both in the federal court and arbitration.
FFN has denied any liability and paid no consideration whatsoever to Mr. Gutierrez, his attorneys and/or his purported class members.
