2020 TEAs Official Pre-Party Forced to Switch Venues

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Organizers of the 2020 Transgender Erotica Awards (TEAs) were forced to move the location of their official pre-party when the prior venue abruptly canceled their contract.

The pre-party is now set for Bardot nightclub inside Avalon Hollywood, the venue for this year’s ceremony. The date of the event remains the same: March 13, ahead of the TEAs ceremony, hosted by Domino Presley, on March 15.

The prior venue, the Sayers Club, announced the venue was double-booked despite having a signed agreement in place since August 2019, explained TEAs producer and creator Steven Grooby.

“On a more positive note,” he said, “returning the Bardot feels like going home. They've consistently helped us with our shows and we're very happy that they can accommodate us at a late notice.”

“We're planning to invest a lot more into the look of the pre-party this year thanks to extra sponsorship from Kink and TranzFanz,” he continued, “and I think everyone will be surprised and exhilarated at the new ideas we're bringing.”

For the latest updates, follow the TEAs online and on Twitter.
