CYBERSPACE — Stripchat is touting a raft of new contests designed to turn the focus on male and trans performers who will now receive their own competitive categories.
Ongoing contests and promos include more than $20,000 in prize money for models participating in regular monthly and “Three-Hour” contests besides “broadcasting, receiving tips and selling content,” a rep enthused.
Historically, however, the popularity of cis female performers has put male and trans performers "at a competitive disadvantage in these contests."
The contests are part of a larger Stripchat initiative to bring more male and trans models to the platform. “Since there is less competition in these categories, it’s a good place to move to grow your income," said the rep.
Starting today, tabs marked “Girls, “Boys” and “Trans” will appear on the pages for “Current Month,” “Top” and “Last Month” winners.
“Check the different winners from each group and contest rules to see the prizes for each place and category,” the rep explained. “The Monthly Contest is based on how many StripPoints models have collected in the Three-Hour contest. StripPoints are calculated by the earnings per hour online.”
The male and trans performers can unlock $1000 for first place; $500 for second place; $250 for third-place winners; $100 for those placing fourth and fifth; $50 for performers in sixth through tenth place; and $25 for those who land in 11th through 20th place.
