Attorney Maxine Lynn to Discuss 'Erobotics' at the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality

DENVER — Attorney Maxine Lynn will be a panelist this afternoon at the annual meeting of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, the oldest professional society dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about sexuality.

Lynn will take part in a group symposium titled, “Towards Erobotics: A Transdisciplinary Perspective on the Emergence of Artificial Sociosexual Entities.”

She will be joined in the session by fellow panelists Simon Dubé, BSc; Ellen M. Kaufman, MA; Rhonda Balzarini, Ph.D.; and Maria Santaguida, BA.

Lynn’s presentation will cover “Free Speech Considerations in Regulating Artificially-Intelligent Sex Robot Dolls.”

“It’s truly an honor to take part in this world-class conference with this amazing group of people,” Lynn told XBIZ. “I am excited to present with them alongside some of the leading sexuality researchers in the world.”

The symposium will be held today at 4:15 p.m., as part of the conference that runs from November 7-10 at the Sheraton Downtown Denver.
