NEW YORK — Unbound has announced a collaboration with visual artist and sex worker Exotic Cancer, debuting a limited-edition nipple and clit clamp emblazoned with the "iconic stripper saying 'fuck you, pay me,'" in a heart pendant.
The new accessory is set to be released in November. Unbound plans to donate 6.9 percent of the sales revenue to the Global Network for Sex Work Projects (NSWP).
"Since inception, Unbound has collaborated with talented artists, sex workers and womxn who create narratives for the brands products that their customers have come to know and love them for," a company spokesperson said.
"Given the recent legislation in New York on sex work, it's now important, more than ever, for supporters of this cause to come together to help demystify and destigmatize sex work to those who are not well-versed in the matter."
Polly Rodriguez, CEO of Unbound, reiterated their shared goals.
"The goal of this collaboration is to create a beautiful product that we believe aligns with the values of our customers, Unbound and Exotic Cancer — the belief that sex work is work," she said.
