Sanctuary Studios to Host Fetish Market, Charity Auction This Saturday

LOS ANGELES — Sanctuary Studios LAX, Southern California's largest commercial dungeon space, has announced a full schedule of events for this coming Saturday, November 2, beginning with its annual Sanctuary Marketplace from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. (PDT), immediately followed by Mistress Cyan’s charity auction party and Thanksgiving food drive from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Kicking things off in the morning, House of RayvnBlood presents Sanctuary Marketplace, a consumer vendor event featuring handmade and one-of-a-kind products from top bondage and fetishwear designers, hosted by Master Gabriel. Admission is $10 at the door; veterans and active military are free with ID.

So far, 19 vendors are lined up for this year’s marketplace, including Justin Sayne Leather, Booty Bangers by Brian, Geeky and Kinky Pins, Pocket Snakes Whips, Que Sera Jewelry, Orchid and Serpent, and RayvnBlood Leather.

In the evening, guests are invited to join Mistress Cyan for her fundraiser auction event that benefits people experiencing homelessness. This "pervy take" on the charity bachelor auction is a noted Sanctuary tradition, dating back over 20 years in which switches, submissives and Dommes volunteer to put themselves up for auction. Bidders exchange nonperishable food and canned goods for auction money, with winners getting to "keep" their prize for the remainder of the party.

A Sanctuary spokesperson emphasized, "This is for fun: everything is negotiated, consensual and all safewords will be respected." Admission is $20 at the door and bidding starts at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Last year, the auction reportedly collected over 2,000 cans of food and more than 200 pounds of dry goods, as well as cash and gift cards to be distributed for Thanksgiving. Items are donated to the Metropolitan Community Church in North Hollywood and are subsequently distributed to food banks and homeless persons across Southern California.

“Last year, our efforts inspired a few local churches, groups and Munches to step up and donate to our cause, and the result was that more than 30,000 people were fed because of what we do,” offered Mistress Cyan. “That is an incredible accomplishment that all of you who participate should be proud of. Your efforts are making a difference in the lives of a lot of other people.”

Sanctuary Studios LAX is located at 10914 S La Cienega Blvd., Lennox, Calif. For more information on upcoming events and more, visit them online
