Pornhub Removes Official GirlsDoPorn Channel

CYBERSPACE — Pornhub has removed its official GirlsDoPorn channel that features women who sued the site alleging fraud and deceptive practices; the owner and operators of GirlsDoPorn were named as defendants in a criminal complaint filed last week and now face sex trafficking charges.

“Until today, Pornhub allowed GirlsDoPorn to host dozens of videos on its platform — even after 22 women who appeared in the GirlsDoPorn videos sued the production company for fraud, emotional distress damages and misappropriation of their likeness,” reports Vice's Samantha Cole and Emanuel Maiberg.

The GirlsDoPorn official channel has now disappeared from Pornhub, a property of parent company Mindgeek, and sister site YouPorn.

However, Vice notes that “GirlsDoPorn videos continue to live on Pornhub and other sites in unofficial full videos, clips and compilations uploaded by users.”
