Update: Thursday, October 10, 5:37 p.m.: Clips4Sale owner Neil released the following statement:
"I am excited to announce a new strategic partnership with MindGeek with the goal to take C4S to new levels. From this partnership we will benefit immensely in terms of operations, growth and sales and we will grow faster and more effectively than ever.
"There will be minimum changes in operations — firstly, I am not going anywhere; this partnership only helps me achieve my full vision for C4S. C4S will always be fetish-focused.
"With this partnership, C4S will leverage MindGeek’s proven success in the adult market to grow faster and stronger, and ultimately better serve our studio and customers. In complete transparency, I am always available to answer any studio questions about the partnership. They are welcome to contact me directly."
CYBERSPACE — During last night’s webinar, Clips4Sale owner Neil revealed to participants, who produce clips for his site, a new 'strategic partnership' with MindGeek.
Neil specifically pointed out that he had “not sold Clips4Sale” to MindGeek, but would take advantage of their “unparalleled technical expertise.”
“I’m really happy, very ecstatic to announce, up here on the level of happy a ’10,’ that as of yesterday we’ve entered a strategic partnership with Mindgeek,” Neil told attendees.
A source who attended the webinar told XBIZ that the details of the partnership were apparently not revealed.
The webinar caption included an invitation to “call [Neil] if you have any questions.”
XBIZ will update this story as more information becomes available.
